Smash & Splash!
Here at Photography For You we have created the ultimate session, full of love, fun and pure joy. Cake smashes are such a fun and perfect way to celebrate your little ones first birthday. My cake smash sessions are simple, modern and timeless and keep all the focus on your beautiful baby. I don't use any busy props or bright colours as simple tones and textures create elegant and timeless images. Clothing wise we recommend you dress your bub in something neutral colors for example; white, cream, beige or even olive green. We also recommend to avoid anything with a heavy pattern or large logos as we don't want anything to take away from your gorgeous baby. The cake, bath, balloons and bubbles will all be provided. Our cake smash sessions are a 3 part photoshoot filled with endless fun!

Candid Play
First we start by taking some candid lifestyle photos of your little one, playing with a few wooden toys and some balloons. This allows Mum & Bub to get used to the studio and for your gorgeous little one to have some play time before we get to the good stuff!
Let's Smash
Next up, The cake! This part of the session is absolutely adorable as we let your little one take the lead and get messy!
Splash Time
Finally, we end the session with a bath. This also creates some amazing shots as your baby is allowed to splash, play and create organic, amazing expressions that are truly priceless! I'll also ask you to help out with this portion by blowing bubbles which kids go absolutely nuts for!
